Electric showers + pumps under 1.5kw (1500watts) ?

I can run an electric shower + pump up to around 1500 watts in my system; anyone know if there are any units out there with good pressure and heat at that point? Thanks!

Toyota Highlander hybrid- the general consensus is one can draw up to 1500w from the battery through an inverter. I'd prefer an on-demand heater, but you're saying I'm probably going to need a hot water tank for that low of wattage?

I have a 1440W stinger in my 6 gallon heater. It can heat 6 gallons of water in 10-15 minutes.

1500W is a lot of power to pull - make sure that the cables between the battery and inverter are thick enough. 2AWG at a minimum.

Where is sustained 1500w available on a Hybrid ?
I know some guys who understand what they are doing connect stuff to their traction battery, I seriously doubt Toyota puts blessing to that.

Apparently you can get the 1500w off the 12v battery in the rear, a lot of people doing it: http://www.converdant.biz/images/custom/Plug-Out_Brochure.pdf

Yes I'm sure Toyota doesn't approve but i don't know how they'd ever find out if I were to take the vehicle in for warranty work; I'll just disconnect the inverter.
