Engel Fridge Question?

So I would really like to get one of these soon and have read many many good things about them but need one more question answered.
So say you want to bring frozen stuff like well Ice cream for instance and then also you want to bring other items like milk and such.
Can you have frozen items at the bottom and use the top portion of the fridge as a cooler?
Does this work well or is it a choice between one or the other?

Currently looking at the 60 Litre size.
Thanks

If you are looking for a 60 liter Engel why not go for the MT60 Combo, it is a fridge and a freezer. http://www.i-m-d.com/engel/MT60-Combi Main.htm

Trying to use a regular Engel as both a fridge and freezer is less successful, but if you want to go that route try the Two Zone http://www.i-m-d.com/engel/1Accessories.htm

Martyn got there before I could. Exactly what he said. Get the dual purpose Engel if you've got the room for the 60.

Otherwise the 2 zone attachment works well too. The only downside I see to it is that the warmer zone is smaller than the freezer. I would prefer the other way around, like the MT60.

I recommend the TwoZone fridge compartments to add on top of your fridge. We have an MT45 with a TwoZone and have, on several occasions, bagged some ice and threw it in the very bottom of the fridge and 2 days into the trip, we were able to have blended margaritas on the beach.

In the MT45, there is a 28(+ or -) degree difference from the bottom to the very top.
