Hello all.
I am looking to order the greaseable shackles for the front of my 2006 FG140. It looks like they can be ordered in Australia. I would like to know what the equivalent model would be for the Canter in Australia.
thanks. Perhaps someone can enlighten us who don't know why there is different designations for different countries.

I guess they give them different model number basically for a few different reasons, whether that is, the steering wheel is on the other side through to local design laws (Australia having some very strict rules on what can be driven here).

Suspension parts can be tricky due to the design of being driven on the other side of the road, having said that, the greasable shackles you describe are fairly universal.

These are boxes for the greasable pins and bushes from SSA in Brisbane, best to email them or call them.

Good luck

Krikey!.....I'm kind of floored that an internet search of every possible combination of names and numbers on those boxes yields absolutely nothing....

Earthcruiser in Bend Oregon has these in stock. I purchased some on my way through there earlier this year.

Allan, are you able to describe any other parts/upgrades that EC sells/stocks?

Earthcruiser: Weird outfit. I like to spend my money locally if possible. When I first got my FG this Summer, I made contact with them immediately to secure a set of wheels (which I haven't been able to do yet due to a comedy of slow responses to inquiries by them, and errors, allegedly by their wheel supplier). I also specifically asked Michelle what other parts/systems they sell retail...I was met with silence. I asked if they had a line card, web site etc...more silence. Michelle doesn't return calls or emails in a timely fashion and doesn't do what she says she's going to do. Nor does anyone else there (that I've encountered so far). She is poorly informed about their SRW wheels as well. Their communication is terrible. Maybe they don't give a rats *** or are filthy rich (or both). Hey, it's their business and they can run it the way they want to, and to some degree, we have to put up with it because, well...there just aren't that many places to get stuff for these rigs....But as a former Service Mgr. for Porsche/Audi/VW and Subaru/Toyota dealerships, I was in a similar industry for a long time; They have a lot of unrealized potential, both in customer loyalty and revenue....if only someone there seemed to care....
