In November 2017 I installed Escape Gear (https://www.escapegear.com) seat covers in my 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo 4x4 Double Cab 2.8G A/T. It certainly took much longer than the online guidelines at the time stated. I was able to install the rear seat back cover without removing the seat. Here are some of my general comments:
Here are some of the images from the completed install.

I have more images but was limited to 10 on this post. Overall I have been very impressed with the Escape Gear seat covers. I have been impressed with the Escape Gear customer service as well.

- Positive
- The seat cover fit and finish are impressive. The billowing that can be seen on the two front seats has decreased over time. The driver's lower seat cover does have to be adjust periodically due to sliding in and out of the seat.
- The color is much better than I anticipated and even darker than the silver paint of the vehicle.
- The seat tidy is nice.
- General
- Installation of the front seat bottom covers is quite a challenge considering the airbag electronics on both seats and the additional electronics on the powered driver seat. I had to run the straps under the front lower valence of the driver seat.
- Need to improve
- The instructions are not intuitive. One really has to think the installation through, step by step. (NOTE: It does appear that the instructions provided online have been changed since my installation.)
- Some of the ends of the tightening straps are starting to fray a little.
- I’m not sure that the rear center arm rest is designed properly. I realize the velcro sleeve has to be where it is because when the arm rest is in the stowed position the sleeve slide down the arm rest. However when the arm rest is deployed then the sleeve covers the cup holders but not the padded arm rest. This needs to be rethought. See image below. (NOTE: I don't know if this issue has been addressed. It may have, but I don't know.)
