Exped megamat duo in rtt

Hi folks new to the forum I know mattresses and bedding has been covered here in great detail and I'm reading through as much as possible so I apologize for starting another thread on this. I have a Baroud horizon vision I absolutely love the tent and I'm pretty darned happy with the mattress as is but being a side sleeper I'm always looking for more comfort. The megamat duo is very close in size to my current mattress and would be great to sleep on but I have a few questions for anyone who has experience using this mat in their rtts.

Obviously the mat is bulky my only storage option would be to keep it deflated in the folded up tent is anyone doing this? If so how are you inflating and deflating? My tent is vehicle mounted so I'm a setup and breakdown daily rtt camper so setup and breakdown hassle and time is a pretty big factor for me. If you are leaving the mat in the tent deflated are you gaining or losing more storage for bedding in the folded up tent vs the typical foam mattress? Currently I can store a small amount of bedding in my tent and still fold it up very helpful for me.

Basically if I buy one I'm going to have to do it sight unseen so just looking for some experienced feedback thanks in advance and love the forum.

I have a MegaMat Duo 10 and used it a few times in our Autohome Columbus Small X-long. The Duo is 52" wide and the Columbus is 49" wide so I had to deflate the mat to get it to fit when the RTT was closed. I have an OBA so inflating wasn't too big of a deal; however even at that I got tired of the daily inflate/deflate regiment when camping in a new spot every night. Currently using medium density foam...

The other thing I didn't care for and its the same thing that effects all two or more sleeper air mattresses: When each other rolls/moves it effects the other sleeper. Not a deal breaker but something to consider if one of you is a light sleeper...

Rob: Mill End Fabric here in Reno; $100. I went with medium density...3"...and it works fine when I'm on my back but bottoms out when on my side (200lbs). Its not bad but if you're heavier and a side sleeper you won't like it. Lighter weight and you should be fine.

Might have been better to have gone with 1/2" heavy density and 2-1/2" medium density... or 1" + 2"...I'm very close and it wouldn't take much to make it 100% comfy for back & side.
