We had a great showing with about twenty people coming down to the Salt Lake City Main Library for this months summit.
First up we had Roger Moody talk about why it is that we explore the backcountry and recount his many trips to one of his favorite places, Comb Ridge.
Next, Jared Payne shared his most recent excursion to the Beef Basin and Needles region. Jared is one of the most knowledgeable regarding the flora and fauna that is found in Utah, so it was great to see his myriad of photos and explanations.
Finally, Daniel Milligan recounted his Desert Rat Adventure this summer where he traveled around the state in his Wrangler and spent thirty odd days camping under the stars.
It was a great evening listening to people talk about their passion for getting out, seeing some great pictures and meeting everyone.
