I do not know how and have yet to try. Hopefully others have and could give their input during a net and we all could learn a little. Supposedly my HT and my Mobile are capable of cross-band repeat...
I just might mess around with that this week.

I'm gonna try to connect. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing yet though. I've sent and email to the controller of my local node to see what he thinks. As long as I can get the node and figure out how to connect to 9251 I'll be on.

You need to find out if your local node allows connection to a reflector. If it does, connecting is easy - follow the protocol in this post:

Dang I work 7p to 7a that night......
I knew that would be an issue when we went with tues nights, but more important to figure what works for the group. Maybe I can come in at 730 and get a little net time
So figure me for a possible to at least a check in
thanks for keeping this going
next yr we really need to figure out how to have a ham link for updates at least 1 night of the event (maybe awards night) so folks can feel a part of it....assuming the event location is near a repeater that would work for that.

Is there a site that streams the audio from that node?
I'd like to monitor the net, but I don't think I can hit the repeater that has an IRLP link in this area with my HT.

Ill be on 3286 (447.175 PL186.2). It's linked to 146.805, same PL. I can hit it from pretty much anywhere in town. If I'm on first, Ill link it up, if you get there first, feel free.
