So we have 5 child car seats in the van so I needed more anchors... I also needed headrests in the front bench for my wife... so I began by getting the headrest guides from Honda, square tubing to fit the guides inside. the square tubing has to be notched to keep the guide in place. also the guide will need to be trimmed down a bit to fit inside the square tube.... (2005 Honda headrests and guides)the headrests I swiped from my wife's van 3rd row. We were not using them....
I figured out where I needed the headrests, removed the cloth, notched the upper tubing of the bench seat then welded in the square tubing and attached flat bar from tube to tube for extra strength..
for some reason I have a very difficult time posting pics to this webite so here is the link to the pics.... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/76...ess-van-headrest-car-seat-anchor-install.html
one the anchors the pics are fairly self explanatory. I added 4 anchors per bench seat..............
