Factory tie down bolts work temporarily to transpot popup?

I'm wondering if these factory tie-down bolts would work to temporarily transport a popup camper like a FWC on the highway?

Being as though we don't know exactly what we're going to buy yet I hesitate to install any permement hardware in the bed of our truck until we have the camper in hand.

I question how are you even going to reach those with a camper in place and to what will you tie it off to on the camper?

I have seen someone throw a long ratchet strap over the top of a camper to hold it in place. It was at a music venue so don't know if he was going long distance with it like that probably not but done carefully would be a way to get a camper home while you determine how to mount it "permanently."

Well that's a good question regarding ... I was under the impression that FWC have eyebolts on the underside where they typically attach to the bed so I assume there's an access panel for those? Not entirely sure though.

FWC should have jack brackets so you can use the holes in them and throw a heavy tie down strap over the top, front and back. With tailgate off or down, use tailgate latch hooks to place another strap behind to keep camper from sliding back. For any space between the walls of the camper and truck bed, insert wood blocks keep it from sliding sideways. Once it is permanantly installed, keep such blocks in place and you should find that they prevent the internal turnbuckles from loosening -that's been the case for me even with a lot of rough offroading in four years never found a loose turnbuckle and mine do not have any sort of stopper nut.
