Feel free to laugh :-) Vespa LX 50 adventure

After years of exploring Europe and Africa by motorbike I have downsized to a handy super cheap to run Vespa LX50 :smiley_drive:

Couple of days ago I dug out my "old" africa riding gear and loaded up my scoot to ride to our neighbor island Salt Spring for a camping trip. With side trips I did about 200km at $5 on fuel :wings: Although the Vespa is super slow, I had a blast! Kind of nice to cruise at a slower speed and have the automatic transmission do the work.

On that note, are there any other scooter riders here that are going on trips?

when I was in Death Valley last weekend riding my heavy high-maintenance KTM 950, I met a couple riding 2 Vespa Scooters around. they had a Rotopax extra fuel tank attached to the rack in the front.

they seem really happy...
