02 d-cab taco, sr5, trd, gold, 84k on truck. Don't get to excited yet, read on.
i bough the truck in december of 2012 from a buddy of mine who bought it new and had used it for a hunting truck until he got a rhino. it was then parked for a year and the next time he went to start it, the cat had plugged up and ended up smoking the motor. when i bought it i assumed it was missing due to the sensors hanging down after he cut off the exhaust. i found out later this was not the case, so a reman motor was installed. that brings us up to date.
new parts
jasper reman motor from napa w/ 3 year, 100k tranferable warranty. i talked to the warranty dept. at jasper and they said there are issues with tranffering warranty to a new owner. i have the paper work and reciept from napa. less than 30 miles.
new front rotors/pads/cailpers.
new exhaust with high flow cat.
new plugs and wires at time of motor installation
timingn belt at 75k. looked new and was reused when long block was installed.
frame replaced by toyota 2 years ago.
new a/c evaporator core
new blower motor.
new driver side wheel bearing.
ARB front bumper w/ hella 55's
previous owner fabbed rear bumper (plain, doesn't look bad).
radio shack cb in ash tray mount.
optima red top.
soon to be insatlled
new rear pass tailight
weatherstripping around rear driver door.
the bad.
like i said, it was a hunting truck before i got it. it scrathed up pretty good with a few small random dents. steerign rack leaks. the underneith has typicle rust of a toyota in central wv. control arms, f/r springs, rearend all has some scaling. also some scaling on the floor bords. bed rails and bed are a little skinned up. the inside is 6/10. there are some scuffs on the center console, kick panels, and glove box. the front seats are in pretty good shape, there is a stain on the pass. rear seat. there cleaned, just stained.
it has the makings fro a good truck, but i 'm needing a fullsize for the kids to fit. if i could figure out a way for it to work i would keep it. you know how it goes. right now i'm @ $14, 500 in it. thats where we'll start. i'll try to get some pictures when it stops raining. located in central wv. about 2 hours south of pittsburg fro reference. if there are any particular questions, just ask i do what i can to answer them. thanks
