Is the question about whether the torque converter in an automatic transmission will remain locked up on a descent? I'm not sure what the answer is but it's a different question than whether or not the exhaust brake activates on a descent.
Yes my question was about the transmission and specifically the torque converter on the automatic transmissions which appears to be the only option of USA spec trucks.
