Finally getting started on this build

I bought this ‘03 E-450 ambulance way back in April or May, only 93,000 miles. Bought the 6’’ lift kit from Ujoint way back then too and it has only just arrived. Still waiting on springs.

Stripped down to the chassis to do a top-to-bottom bulletproof on the 7.3.

Big plans for the interior.

Wow you're seriously stripping this one! Don't think I've ever seen someone going that far in initial preps for an ambo!!! Having a done couple similar builds I can say what you're doing will save you tons of headaches down the road. I really hope you'll address the injectors, glowplugs and everything else that's a pain to replace while you have access to the bare engine! (and frame paint...)

How much time did it take to get the box and cab off the chassis? Wish I had the space to do what you're doing!!! Let us know of your plan and keep it coming, really interesting start!

ps. just a suggestion, maybe change the title to include "ambulance" and strip down or something else to catch the attention of ambo fans... I almost missed your thread!
