DIY camper trailer newbie here. Planning on getting started with my build later this year. In preparation, I’m contemplating some of the important aspects of the build, to include power. For context, I plan on building a pod that I can put on my lifted 5x10 utility trailer and taken off when not used. I want it to be able to be powered from a generator, shore power and trickle charged from my vehicle via a 7 prong plug. Solar may come later, but I’m trying to baby-step my way into this. In my mind that would mean standard plug-in for the generator/shore power, but an easy disconnect for the 7 prong plug. Are there any good resources out there with basic diagrams and component recommendations for trailer campers? I’ve seen plenty for RV’s and vans but not sure how well they translate over. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
