First look: AT JK Topper

The current issue of JPFreak online magazine has the first photos of the
new Adventure Trailers JK Topper, a sort of Flip-Pac tent for the current
Jeep four door. Take a look here
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/b813c2bd#/b813c2bd/40

Some notes from the article:
direct replacement for factory top, using factory attachment points
roofline raised just 6 inches over stock
access to the tent is from the inside of the Jeep, not a ladder outside
tent when open is about 12 feet long
cost is estimated to be about $4400

Nice article.

That price point is awesome as well. Too bad it seems that most JKs I've seen already come with a hard top or this would be a very easy sell.

It looks great ! ! ! :D

Folks could just unbolt the hard top, couldn't they ?

This is going to be a fantastic product ! I hope they find a way to expand it to other vehicles, too.

Right, just unbolt the factory hardtop, remove, and bolt the JK Topper in its place.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chrysler adds the JK Topper to the Mopar accessories catalog. Let's hope that AT has submitted an application to the patent office for their design!

Nicely subtle hint there, Chip ;)

Very nice indeed. Like a DIY XV-JP.

Now, how did you link to that magazine like that? I thought you had to buy them?

Yeah def. I just remember my days when I bought my TJ hard tops were hard to find stock and they were expensive from Jeep.

Given an option of buying a hard top if I didn't have one and wanted one and buying this would be a no brainer.
