So I just had to replace a cracked cap on top of my gas tank that was leaking fuel. Paid around 500$.. Hope this isn't the start of the beginning of repairs for my 2010:/

wow, what cap and how did it happen? I've been really fortunate on my 08 as I have so many of the 2010 LR4 component upgrades on mine from the dealer before I bought it. Suspension, A-Arms, compressor, etc... Had a tail light issue and brake light switch problem but other than that, my Landy has been extremely reliable. Everything I have broken was due to my own fault except those brake switch issues which turned out to be just a bad switch and then non-factory brake light. Super easy fix!

It was a cracked top / oring and something else that fits on top of the gas tank.. No idea how it broke .. Pretty sure it wasn't my fault though . They had to drop the gas tank that's why it was so expensive , the part was only like 150$.

That sucks. Glad you're back on the road but that seems like a warranty item, I mean unless you can see a way someone could have caused the damage.
