Well after much reading and realizing that the camping between ski areas and hut trips this winter in the back of the truck will be pretty tight with me and the girl. I found a FWC on CL, Its a 92 and the guy says it is 7'6" long at the base. he also says he put it in a 98 taco (just like mine) I am a little worried about the lenght of it. It also seems to have a very short cab over section only 22" where most of the newer ones seem much bigger. 1200 bucks isn't to bad from a non smoker and seems nice, but I still got to go check it out. What are oyur guys thoughts on wintering in a FWC? We are moving out of ketchikan AK and dying to ski for a winter and cruise around the west checking out hospitals where we might want to work. We might be pulling a 1 place snowmobile trailer with a good size sled in it also. Am i going to kill my v6 taco? let me know some thoughts or other sweet deals in the rocky mtns. thanks:REOutIceFishing:

So talking to him a little more the camper is a fleet model and it seems to me like it is much older than a 92. Any references to where I could see a 92 fleet for comparison? Thanks

Other questions?

I have a few other FWC questions if some one could help. What is the difference between the ranger II and the eagle? The set up erod has is pretty much optimal as far as i have seen and his is a ranger II. What are the fleet models like. I hear some are narrower and the over cab portion seems much smaller. When did they start using gray material instead of tan? I appreciate all the help. :victory:
