FJ-40 1978 looking for local mechanic to swap stock engine with upgrade

I have had my FJ-40 for 6 years and it gets only 10 MPG never pass up a gas station. I want to swap stock engine for one that gets better mileage and more power.
I live in Petaluma Calif and doing it myself is not possible. Looking for Mechanic within 75 miles where I can take vehicle for instillation.
