So I finally got a new/used Flippac for my truck. I dropped it off at AT Trailers to have them add one or possibly two windoors and give it the once over before mounting it on my rig. My question is seeing how this will be mounted and most likely not taken off for a very long time does it make sense to color match the paint job or????

Do aesthetics matter to you is the be all, end all question I reckon. Either way, hope you enjoy it.

I'll enjoy it for sure and as for aesthetics, yes and no. This will be driven daily in and out of the city and I don't want it to look like I just bolted a meat locker on my new truck.

it doesnt look as much like a meat locker with windows, but i'm pretty sure i'll paint mine.

A white camper is not that bad on a silver truck. But if you can you might want to go ahead and color match it. And since you are considering it, you might regret it later if you don't.

One thing is for sure, leave the Crank Brother's sticker on. :)

I think you need to sell it to me:)

Definitely do some photochopping. If I had bought this one, I would have had to paint it. I have a black shell on a red truck with black wheels and bumpers, and I like the contrasted look. With your wheels, black would look great, too, IMO . I know, I know, bad for scratches.

I say paint the bottom portion to match. BUT, I would leave the top white, like old Landcruiser roofs. It'll be cooler too.

I was thinking of doing it that way. I wish I had photoshop and skills to see what it would look like with the windows and painted.

Hey, somebody with Photoshop skills hook this man up with a painted/white top conversion of his Flippac.
