Something that I have been waiting for for a long time the floor and ceiling.
Refitting the old floor planks.
I do appreciate it when I can use the old planks they are light and still very strong and it’s so satisficing when nothing goes to waste.
I am using a 50 mm Insulation sheet on top of the floor, the old planks are 28 mm followed by the 50 mm Insulation sheet and a 9 mm plywood, and about 10 mm vinyl planks, total 97 mm thick.
The ceiling planks are 10 mm thick shiplap, you can say they are home cut from other planks, not the best but it will do for me.
A lot of cutting and a very sore neck after fetting all the planks.
I nearly forgot the cabling for the light so a few planks were removed again so we could get the cabling installed.
All ceiling planks fitted back again.
Now only sanding and the last layer of paint.
thank you for the support.
