Wow! There are affordable exploration trucks?!
That’s what I thought when I first saw the truck. I bought it in august 2021 from a traveling family of four (two kids) and after a year traveling in Europe I shipped it to Canada in April 2022. For an amazing three years on the road in the America’s. Now I need to work again, but the truck is very ready for his next adventure.
The truck is now near Buenos Aires, ready to go for another PanAmerican journey. If you prefer I can also bring him to the harbor for you and you can ship it wherever you want.
The Deutz engine is as reliable as they are famous for. Air cooled, easy to repair and easy maintenance. I replaced the oil retainers on the rear axle (2024) I also put new seals in the brake- and clutch cilinders (2024) I put new piston rings in the air compressor (2023) and just installed new house and car batteries two months ago.
As you can see in the photo’s I rebuilt the house and made the roof 1.5ft/0.5m higher in 2023. I’ve driven with it in all terrains and conditions and he works great everywhere. Hot, cold, high altitude, through rivers (3ft water clearance), desserts, beaches, jungle, off road, very steep, you name it, I tried it, he works just fine.
