Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Price: $7500 (including all expedition gear listed below)
We are selling our UK registered 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 (200 TDI) in Ethiopia in mid December. She currently has about 116,000 miles (odometer is in miles, not km) and is in great running shape. The vehicle is overland-ready, including the following equipment:
- Well-equipped toolbox & large set of spare parts, extra fuel jerrycan
- Roof tent with mattress & bedding
- 80W solar panel on roof (easily removable & includes a 5m extension cable) w/ 105aH deep cycle second battery configured for dual charging off solar or alternator. Interior & exterior LED lights & charge ports
- 55L water tank with gravity tap, pump and purifier - fill up on water anywhere!
- Snomaster 42L DC Fridge
- Full kitchen setup w/ LPG stove, table & chairs
- Dustproof storage w/ plastic bins, shelving & large drawer on sliders
Known Issues: Oil weeping on the transfer case seals (no discernable transmission oil loss in the 10k miles we've put on it so far though). Head gasket weeping some oil (but not enough to warrant adding any oil between our 6k oil change interval).
