FOR SALE: 2004 Lance 1030 Truck Camper (Will consider selling truck as well)

We have taken many trips in this camper since we bought it in 2020 (including two cross-country road trips). We are selling it to go in a different direction for our family. We have had many fun adventures in this rig and will be sad to let our first camper go, but we hope the next family will love it as much as we have. We haul this on a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 DRW and have no issues. We get approximately 12 mpg. We will consider selling the truck and camper together but this listing is for the camper specifically.

Updates we have made since we bought it

• Renovated in 2020. We opened up the space by painting the dull RV brown with white paint, removed the bulky window coverings and dingy blinds and replaced them with tension rods and blackout curtains. See our renovation video below.
• Created an escape hatch on the stair up to the bed to gain access to the fresh-water tank for cleaning. Features a marine grade hatch.
• Updated vinyl floor
• Replaced AGM batteries with two 100 AMH BattleBorn batteries.
• We have camped recently at a national park for four days and the lowest our battery got was 85%.
• Added 400w of solar which charges the lithium batteries through a Victron MPPT controller. Self-installed—we are not professionals. Here is a video:
• Replaced lights throughout with LEDs. Only two original lights remain. We didn’t replace them because we didn’t want to have to repair the ceiling.
• Updated a few outlets with USB outlets.
• Added marine lights over the bed, which are touch control and have USB outlets built into them.
• Torklift fastguns and locks
• Replaced all of the exterior cabinet door locks.
• The stovetop works great. We have never attempted to use the oven.
• Froli bed system. We also replaced the mattress when we bought it.
• WeBoost
• New foot flush toilet installed within the last month.
• Brand new RV SnapPads on jack feet.

Known problems

• We did not know there was water damage and rot in the cabover when we bought it from the previous owner. Had we not removed all of the window treatments we would not have found it. We repaired it from the inside, but the new “wall” needs to be replaced and the exterior has delaminated in that area. We have downloaded a step-by-step DIY on rebuilding the nose, complete with the materials to buy, but we never got around to doing it. We show what we found in our renovation video, here:
• Our renovation probably requires renovation. For example:
• The peel-and-stick vinyl flooring we used to build a new wall in the cabover bed area is peeling off. It never really formed correctly to the inner wall. It was a good idea in theory, but we aren’t professionals. We have a body pillow there and a shelf that we added for décor so we hardly notice how it looks.
• The subway tile peel-and-stick wallpaper did not hold up to our humid climate well and has slipped in some areas, so there are gaps between some of the tiles.
• The paint has chipped in some small areas.
• We removed the original dinette table and replaced it with a beautiful custom wood table. However, the new table does not fit perfectly for making the dinette into a bed. It does work. Our pre-teen has slept there just fine.
• We covered the countertops with contact paper. We had plans to redo the countertops in butcherblock.
• We wanted to replace the toilet but never did, so we never updated the vinyl flooring around it to match the new vinyl floor.
• When we bought it from the previous owner the generator did not work, so we turned the generator cabinet into a dry storage cabinet. We carry an off-board generator just in case but have never used it.
• Keyless entry (battery needs to be replaced, or might be the motherboard. We did not use it enough to go through trying to fix it.)
