For sale: 2005 Land Rover LR3 SE: HD Package, Perfect Service History
VIN: SALAE25475A328457
Mileage: Approximately 226,000 (as of January 2025)
Location: Santa Cruz, California
Price: $8,500
Description:
Well loved and well used 2005 LR3. I’m the second owner, bay area car for its entire life. Bought new from Stevens Creek Land Rover and was basically dealership serviced for 125k miles. I’ve owned it since 2018 and it has been the BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned. All of the common LR3 issues have been addressed: sunroof drains, air suspension compressor, transmission pan cover, Coolant reservoir leak and probably a handful of other things that I’ve forgotten about. It's been very well cared for mechanically. I’ve used but not abused it off-road. Mostly using it on mild forest service roads, not wheeling just for the sake of wheeling. The pinstriping is there and the oxidation and a dent in the rear quarter panel. Don’t have to worry about babying it, it’s pre scratched! Go have fun!
All services records since new available. Clean CA Title in hand. Smogged no issues. Lots of recent maintenance, new rear brakes, oils and transmission fluid change. Up to date registration. Ready to go. Only reluctantly selling due to experiment with full size truck, we’ll see how that goes.
Key Features:
HD Package with center and REAR locking differentials. In conjunction with the traction control it just walks up ANYTHING, in control.
Cold Weather Package with Heated Seats (front and rear) but most importantly HEATED WINDSHIELD.
IID Gap Tool. If you don't know that you need this, then go buy a Toyota with the rest of the peasants. You don’t deserve nice things. Things do go wrong with Rovers (less than haters think), but they are VERY predictable and the community is WONDERFUL, super easy to find answers to anything that happens.
EZ Lift Air Suspension control unit. Can’t understand why folks fool around with the lift rods or worse yet, coil over conversions. The air suspension is wonderful! With the EZ lift, I mostly run a -30mm highway drop, significantly improving handling. Favorite feature is the self leveling mode for camping.
Traxide Dual Battery system from Australia. Plug and play, Uses the stock dual battery location under the hood. I’ve only ever run a fridge with it, that I have wired with an anderson connector.
Indel b JP 50 Fridge. Fits PERFECTLY with one the ⅓ rear seats removed.
Autohome Columbus Land Rover med-long tent. Good friend was the US distributor of Autohome tents and sold it to me as it was damaged in shipping. Patched 5 years ago and works great.
Rear drawer and Sleeping Platform: Aluminum frame and baltic birch panels and drawers. Very light. I removed the 3rd row seats, Saves serious weight and opens up a lot of storage.
Rhino OX Off Road Trailer Hitch. Much improved departure angle.
Slightly larger than Stock Falken Wildpeak AT, Largest size that fits in the stock spare location.
