Description: Selling my Flip-Pac. I have other projects I need to focus on, so I’m sad to see it go. It fits a 6 foot bed, good for any midsize truck. Currently on my 3rd gen Tacoma.
Needs a new torsion bar (you can still open the tent), new netting, bulb seal, and one small crack in the fiberglass. Also, rear window doesn’t close all the way on my truck, but the plan was to make a custom version.
You can still find all of the necessary components from a few different companies. Including tent, rain fly, and torsion bar.
The mounting rails are in excellent shape; no wood rot or damage at all, which is a common failure point. The fiberglass shell is in good condition with no significant UV damage. The interior carpet is in great condition and has no odor. The hinge to open and close the tent is working great. It also comes with the two stabilizing rods for the bed section. It's not going to look brand new, but it's in amazing shape for a Flip-Pac.
Super cool history, rare find. If you know you know. The factory Six-Pack sticker says it was built in April 1991.
This is a great project for someone who gets it.
Bed is 74in long, 64in wide
Price: $3500 OBO, willing to meet somewhere but price might change depending on location
