Hey folks,

I joined because I was reading through this awesome forum and realized that I have a roof-top tent that someone here might get better use out of.

It is an AutoHome (http://www.autohomeus.com/index.php) Columbus Variant style car-top tent. Size: Large.

Location: Glendale, California, USA

Description: Only used three times (husband's advancing physical disabilities prevented further use). It is very clean. The exterior has minor marring from use, but otherwise in excellent condition.

Columbus Variant Standard Features

* Extendable alloy ladder with security locking
* Three screened entry doors—both sides and rear
* Stowage for extra gear while traveling
* Gas rams for fast, easy set-up
* Internal storage pockets
* 2.5” (6.5cm) thick closed cell foam mattress, and 4 pillows
* Condensation resistant ceiling liner

More data here: http://www.autohomeus.com/rooftop/variant.php

I really love this tent and hate giving it up...but I have to come to terms with the fact that I won't get to use it anymore. So, I hope that it makes someone here happy to have it! :)

It sells for $3000, not including tax, via AutoHome. I am asking $2,300, but am willing to consider offers. I cannot ship or deliver it, however, so you would have to come pick it up.

Send me a PM or e-mail via the forum if you are interested.

Well...I got a few e-mails, sent responses -- then never heard back from the people -- and ran out of time to devote to selling my tent.

So, this tent is back on sale again.

I have noticed that there are a lot of people that look at the thread, but post no interest. That's OK if you are just not interested, but, if you are but something stops you, feel free to spout off here as to what would make it more interesting to you...I want to know, really. :)

Maybe if you were in Alaska! :elkgrin: :drool:

Now that's what I am talking about...:) Thanks for the reply, it helps me understand.

Yes, distance is a big factor. Unless you have friends local that want to take it on a road trip for you...;) :D

Just to let you know, the tent is finally sold. :wings:

Many thanks to all those who responded, and to everyone here for having this forum available so that it could go to the right person who would really get some use out of it. My appreciation is real.
