The Story
This Defender was bought in extremely rough condition — but it was also something rare: a Defender 110 TD5 Crew Cab Pick-Up, one of the least common factory configurations Land Rover produced. Not a limited-edition badge car, but a genuinely uncommon working platform.
The goal from day one was simple and ambitious:
keep the soul and design of the original Defender, remove its weaknesses, and build a vehicle capable of serious on- and off-road use, anywhere.
The truck was fully disassembled to the chassis so every component could be inspected, repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. This was not a cosmetic refresh. This was a structural, mechanical, and functional rebuild with long-term ownership and expedition use in mind.
Life changed, priorities shifted, and as much as this truck deserves to be driven across borders and continents, it now deserves a new owner who will actually do that.
I’m asking €65,000 because this isn’t the starting point of a project — it’s the end of one. Anyone who has built a Defender properly already knows what this costs in parts, labor, time, and sanity.
