This has been a labour of love with all custom modifications…too much to list but I will try!
Sad to be selling but our son is growing and wants to bring friends camping and this setup is challenging for that. My wife doesn’t see the trailer as our second child unfortunately!
Underbody fully restored in 2021 with NOS leaf springs and NAPA shocks. POR-15 treated and painted, all removable parts sandblasted, POR-15 painted then sprayed green. All new nuts and bolts throughout as per the military service manual (included). Upgraded stock hubs with Dexter 3500lb electric trailer brakes with parking brake. Entire trailer spray painted, and trailer tub POR-15 treated and painted. Only thing this trailer needs is new tires and have a few sources I will share.
All modifications are done non-destructively so trailer could be returned to stock. All trailer brake lights/turn signals converted from 24V to 12V. Original 24V harness included in sale.
Fabricated extendable rack for rooftop tent with annex. Rack extends to 6+ feet to take full advantage of annex. Rack is on Firgelli Automations synchronized linear actuators with dual wireless remote controls. Backup gas struts installed just in case! 4 fully adjustable custom stabilizers make extended rack rock solid. Custom tongue jack with linear actuator and removable wheel allows for trailer to be pushed around. 2” hitch receiver installed on rear for bike rack or other accessories and additional linear actuator included for rear leveling. Original landing leg included in sale.
CVT Mount Rainier Pioneer Series Rooftop Tent has been fully re-waterproofed, and seam sealed this year. Some zippers need attention, but tent still has life left in it! Two adults and an eight-year-old sleep comfortably on king size sleeping area.
79” CVT Pioneer awning on driver’s side covers kitchen and more. Full solid and screened wall sets included (never used).
55” CVT Pioneer awning currently mounted on front to cover tongue box but can be mounted easily on rear.
Custom electrical system constructed from marine grade components. All LED lighting includes perimeter, tongue box, tent, annex, kitchen, and trailer tub. USB and 12V power points in tongue box and additional USB jacks in tent. Tent, annex, and kitchen lighting all dimmable. 3 additional fused switches installed for future expansion such as 12V fridge. Voltmeter, 20A Renogy solar controller (with exterior input jack), and battery charger permanently wired with 12V fused input for charging from tow vehicle through 7-pin connector. Group 27 RV battery included.
Custom kitchen countertop sets up on driver’s side and included Coleman camp stove hooks to mounted 10 lb propane tank. Lots of prep space or space for BBQ.
