This dream of an overland rig, a RAM 3500 with Bowen Customs Camper Bed and Scout Kenai Camper, was thoughtfully designed to support full-time life on the road with its substantial power system, off-road capability, air conditioning, remote work capabilities (equipped with Starlink and MOFI5500 cellular router), and an immense amount of interior and exterior storage space. It has been thoroughly tested for over 63,000 miles from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Antigua, Guatemala, and it has never disappointed. Like all rigs, it is susceptible to minor issues here and there, but none have been insurmountable. This is the perfect rig for someone who wants to start exploring now and doesn’t want to make a ton of difficult decisions about how to set up and optimize their rig–because we’ve already done that for you.
Location: Yellow Springs, Ohio at Nook Overland
Asking price: $110,000 (The value put into this rig was around $160,000 plus 200+ hours of our own labor.)
Reason for sale: Pausing our travels to start/run a business, and we enjoy the process of building new rigs.

Truck specs
The truck bed is a Bowen Customs Camper Bed with an 18” front garage designed to fit the Scout Kenai perfectly. This bed maintains the height of the stock bed (unlike flatbeds which raise the height of the bed) and adds immense amounts of exterior storage. It enabled us to carry plenty of dog and cat food, 15+ gallons of water, two inflatable paddle boards, two foldable bikes, recovery gear, a pizza grill at one point, and more.
The Bowen bed is overall in good structural condition but does have some wear and tear from two and a half years of use. There are two broken welds on the storage boxes that were caused from hitting a speed bump at 50 miles per hour. The welds are not structural and have been fixed with JB Weld and painted to match the truck bed. There are also some small scratches on the inside of the truck bed from loading and unloading the Scout Kenai. The exterior of the truck bed is in good shape with minor scratches.
