Maybe this is exactly what you didn’t know you wanted?

Ford has put together an enhancement package as a performance upgrade for its Maverick.

The 300T Project Maverick, first shown off at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas last month was developed by Ford Custom Garage.

While this new performance boost set up doesn’t necessarily sound like something an Overlander would necessarily be looking for, it does promise to transform the Mav into a seriously hot street rodder.

You can get this version in all-wheel-drive, so I suppose with that four-wheel power you might still do some mild overlanding with it

And since sales of this little truck are still running surprisingly well, this version of it may be something some of you might consider for your daily driver and light camping duty rig.

(From the write up)

“The Maverick 300T takes the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four from the all-wheel-drive Maverick and boosts output to an estimated 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, thanks largely to a turbocharger borrowed from the Mustang’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost. Supporting upgrades include a high-performance Mishimoto intercooler, Ford’s ProCal 4 performance calibration, and a sport Borla cat-back exhaust system.

Underneath, the Maverick 300T gets a lowered suspension setup, upgraded monotube dampers, a thicker antiroll bar, and 20-inch Mach-E GT wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (for the show), with Pirelli P Zero Elects recommended for street use. Ford says the upgrades improve both handling and stability without sacrificing everyday practicality.

Available on 2025 Maverick AWD models in XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, the 300T turbo upgrade is 50-state legal and will carry a three-year/36,000-mile Ford Performance warranty when installed by a Ford dealer.

A production version of the Maverick 300T upgrade package is expected to be available through Ford Performance Parts in 2026, giving gung-ho Maverick owners another reason to love on their little rides.“
