Well Known Xplor’r
So...not bullet-proofed?
Honestly this doesn’t need bullet proofing, it’s not a bro truck that’s been tuned like a 7.3. It a van that actually de-tuned from a stock truck by about 100 hp. The only 6.0 liter van that needs bulletproofing is 2004 6.0 Van & it’s not even needed if do an EGR delete. Late model 6.0 psd are super reliable Especially the 2009. Everything that has been done to this van is all that’s needed it ready to roll. I’ve own numerous 6.0 psd 4x4 vans & had no issues. Never had to bullet proof because in a stock form & mild tune they have all the power you need…

Bump for a rad van. @Saline would you mind sharing how you mounted that roofrack and any photos you have of the roof/solar setup?

Thanks, it has been a fun project.
I used a standard Yakima Lock n Load rack and then fabbed sim simple aluminum mounts. The mounts bolt through the roof and interior wood structure. The mounts have butyl tape, then silicone around the edge and Dicor sealant on the bolt heads. The photos don’t show the Dicor.

The bed platform is 76" x 57 1/2" at its narrowest point. That puts it between a Full XL and a queen.

I can't stop myself from continuing to add to this van. I had the stuff sitting around so why not? I added functional fender vents and an air scoop to the Aluminess bumper.

Sweet van. Can I ask what you used for the fender vent and the air scoop? Is this a kit or addition that is readily available? Or is this custom fabricated?

The fender vents are from a late 70's era Arctic Cat snowmobile of all things. This is the third set that I've installed on E series diesel vans. The front scoop was just a fabricated piece that I made.
