I just found a 2005 excursion V10 4x4 with 199,500 km on ,it use to be an old Ontario Provincial Police truck . I'm still working out some of the bugs out of it..I will be changing out the plastic running Broads to the Nerf bars.I upgraded all at once, so not sure how much of a difference ride quality would be comparing stock shocks. Night and day difference with the Fox shocks and coil springs. I would do it for the turning radius alone. No more 3 point turns. I did start with 20 inch wheels and the extra sidewall going down to 17s I feel made a huge difference. I am contemplating going to 37s to fill in wheel opening a little more.
