Can't click the video. But most of our 550 brush trucks are nearly stock over here. Simple lift, giant MT's, DBL design front flares fenders and wheels..

And special ordering a gas 550 CC, xl, 4X4, isn't as expensive as many think. Adding lockers is though.

Agree on the cheaper than one might think, i have a 2020 5500 on order now :)

Where are you finding lockers for the 5500 period???

Thanks

On a F550, any Dana 60 diff will work fine. A Yukon Grizzly locker would be a great choice up front.

Trutracs are available for the Dana s110 rear. Possibly even an air locker if you buy the whole drop out carrier from a junkyard with a scrapped freightliner. Not sure what axles are being slung into the newest CC's.

Insuring a cab and chassis does have its complications. Daniel is converting my 5500 next month. The 19 up rams don’t require a 2 inch lift like the f550s do.

See if you can insure it as a motorcoach. You're permanently putting a box on it anyways.

I know some Merc Sprinter guys have done such to save costs with those very expensive rides.
