I purchased a full installation kit for a 105W system with 125AH Lifeline battery but can no longer install it. With stunningly bad timing, the van this was supposed to go into has died. I'm left with a solar installation kit and no vehicle to install it into (besides my Mazda 3, but that would be pretty silly).
This kit was purchased only 2 weeks ago from AM Solar (www.amsolar) who specialize in RV Solar installations. This kit is every single thing you need for a start to finish installation. My total Amperage requirements were about 7-9amps and this system is slightly oversized for that purpose - it could accommodate up to 12A probably. You are more than welcome to use AM Solar for customer service, installation questions, etc - they are seriously knowledgeable and very nice guys to boot.
The kit has everything you need - solar controller/charger, battery monitor, remote battery thermometer sensor, all cables, etc. It even comes with tilt bars to lift the panel for angling towards low winter sun and cleaning the underside. I will only sell it as a full kit, however I am willing to part out the battery alone.
I paid $1173 - I would accept $1050 which is a 10% discount for brand new equipment.
I am located in Northern NJ but I am moving to CO this weekend. Shipping this would be expensive - the battery alone weighs 70 lbs, so I would prefer to sell it either in NJ, CO, or anywhere on the way - I'll have it all in the moving truck with me, boxed up securely. However, I am happy to look at price quotes for shipping if you're interested.
This is the invoice showing all components and costs.
These are all the components (minus the battery) laid out in my living room.
Side note: I also have a 200A Sure-Power Battery Separator (this charges the battery off your alternator while the car is running so you aren't 100% dependent on sunshine) and 20' of #2 braided cable that I can sell, otherwise I will simply return it. See the device and cable at the top of the above pic - red cable with device sitting inside the coil.
Questions welcome - please PM me!
