2000 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 extended cab. 3.4 L V6 gas motor. ~216000 miles. Automatic transmission. Manual roll down windows!
Had been my daily driver until last March, now I just use it for errands or very occasional dump run.
Owned since 2015, I bought it from original owner. Was originally built in Fremont, CA and has never been registered out of northern California. It's been as far east as Southwest Colorado. No frame rust. Some scratches and dings common for a vehicle this age. There's a little dent on the right rear near the brake light and turn signal; the tailgate is a little scratched up; there's a minor rubbing paint issue at the back of the cab. Otherwise pretty good and the clearcoat is shockingly ok.
Color matched snug top cap, passenger side "windoor" with functioning locks, rear glass lock doesn't quite work. At this very moment the cap is not installed, I can help put it back on if you bring a brawny lass or lad with you.
I have been diligent with maintenance. Upgrades, repair, and recent maintenance include:
Complete suspension replaced with Old man emu +/- 1" lift (Nitrocharger shocks, struts, coil springs, leaf pack)
Timing belt and water pump replaced around 190k and previously ~80k
New windshield also at 190k
Both lower control arms replaced
Assorted front end suspension parts replaced and or upgraded
Valve cover gasket replaced
New starter
New ignition switch
Brand new radiator recently
New exterior door handles
New interior door handles
Rebuilt driver side lock tumbler,
Replaced driver seat with Corbeau Moab seat with bracket
All oil changes in recent memory with Mobil 1 full synthetic
Upsized newer 16-in Wheels
Big O a/t tires with good tread
(You can have the stock 15-in steelies with OK tires if you want them)
New Alpine single DIN bluetooth stereo head unit within the last year or so
Little stubby antenna
Custom auxiliary fuse box located in engine bay
Driving lights behind aftermarket grille
Independent super duper train horn
Replaced stock headlight lenses and new, LED bulbs.
Probably some other things I'm forgetting. Truck has been a daily driver for 10 years, extremely reliable.
