FYI, I also found that I have a brand new in box Moog 344 U-joint. If you can use it, I can throw it in the box for only $10 more.

thats a front driveshaft u-joint? if it'll work on a D1, sure. won't hurt to have a spare.

Sounds Good. If I remember correctly, the D1 uses the same U-joint for front and rear. The 344 was supposed to be one of the best ones.
