1997 LX450 I purchased 6/6/2008 with 150,983 miles on it.

I have kept a service log of all maintenance and services.

Synthetic engine oil, transfer case, differentials and power steering.

4" Old Man Emu Lift, ARB bull bar, Hella off-road lights, Safari Snorkel, Uniden pro510xl CB radio, were all put on by the previous owner.

Factory Front&Rear lockers and an OEM CDL (center differential locking) switch.

6 disc cd player works great. Sun roof works. Slee Washer bottle relocation kit with spare battery well installed, potential dual battery location, I've used for storage. I also replaced the tailgate carpet with a counter top and cutting board (see pictures) perfect for having a cleanable place to prepare food.

BFG 295 17 16 tires @160,567

@ 156,630 miles on 5/11/2009 Head gasket rebuild, with valves done, New belts, New spark plugs and wires rotor & cap, Air Hose, 2 different vacuum switch valves, water pump and water temp. sensor, knock sensor, thermostat, oil change, coolant flush and refill with Toyota red coolant. All done at the Karl Malone dealership, I've kept the receipts.

New oem air filter @ 163,505

New Battery @ 165,509 and fresh oil change with oem filter change.

it has the Toyota rims rather than the Lexus brand, again previous owner.

Known problems; Rear passenger side window will roll down from drivers control, but will not roll up, however the window will roll up and function normally from the rear passenger door. The AM/FM radio antenna does not roll up or down, the FM radio works great; the AM radio is a little weaker signal. The passenger side HVAC vent on the dash is missing (see pics) however I have the replacement part from Toyota. The leather is 13 years old, and there are cracks and wear marks. There are NO 3rd row seats or brackets, the 3rd row seatbelts still remain. Some paint discoloration, and scratches on the rear bumper.

I am selling this rig because it is too built for the outdoor recreation I most enjoy. I have owned this LC just over a year and a half and I have never wheeled it. I've taken it down some dirt roads but never anything crazy.

Unless of course you have always dreamed of owning a 3x white VW Cabriolet. :xxrotflma:

curious- what was the tab for the May big service/rebuild? Wonder how it compares to Rovers, thanks

Kevin is my brother in law. I believe it was right about $3500 with everything that was done.

I can't believe that he is selling it...Kevin, you are nuts. You have a nicely built, mechanically sound rig...keep it and buy a Subaru for biking trips.
