FS - Osprey Exos 58 Packpack (used once)

As the buyer for an outdoor store, I'm always coming across more gear than I can justify keeping around. Up for sale now is a beautiful Osprey Exos 58 backpack. This is an insanely light pack. Without question the lightest pack I have ever seen or used. Truly astounding how far Osprey went to save weight yet this is not a wimpy pack. The construction is extremely sound. The pack bag is brilliant with just enough features to be practical without being overly gadgety. This is one of the most efficient and well thought out pack bags I've used in years. It's not one of those goofy packs with a dozen pockets and a mile's worth of zippers. No silly sleeping bag compartment. Just a main pack bag, two external flush pockets and a "roo" pocket made of stretchy mesh on the back.

I got this pack on a special program since I'm a buyer and I'm passing on that deal to the next person. This pack retails for $220. I'm selling it for $135 - free shipping inside the US.

I did use it on one 3 day backpack recently. I pulled it out of the box on the 28th, used it in the Superstitions on the 30th, 31st, and 1st. It's back in the box ready for a new home. Naturally, the pack looks mint.

Fitment: This is a size Medium. I'm 6'1" with a short to average torso and a 33" waist and this pack fits perfectly. I wouldn't think it would fit anyone over my height, or anyone with a longer torso. If you have a waist over 34" it probably won't fit. You can look at the Osprey website for fitment guidelines.

Ideal usage: This is obviously a pack for the fast and light types. At 58 liters of volume it easily eats up a week's worth of gear...if you pack light with appropriately light gear. This is not a pack for 50 pound loads. I carried 35-40 pounds and I'd say it carried extremely well, but adding anything over 40 pounds will come with some challenges to comfort. If you're the type to lash a bunch of kit to the outside like the Beverly Hillbillie's family truck, this pack isn't for you. If however, you are the light sleek packing type, you won't believe how well this pack carries.

If you'd like to make an offer, please make that offer on this open thread. If you have questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM.

So why am I selling it?? As a buyer, I just wanted to try it before pulling the trigger on buying dozens of these for the store. However, I have too many packs already. Better to sell her now while she's still purdy.

Flounder

I'll take the Osprey. I would rather not pay the paypal cost in addition to $135.

PM me and we'll work out the payment.
