Does anyone know when the FTS800 became full time 4wd?

Could well be wrong, but I thought the 800's were always full time and the changeover was back around 05ish when it was still 750..?

If you go to the isuzu website click on spec sheets then historical spec sheets. Then choose the year your interested in then the model and you will have all the general info you need. Going off that info all the 800s are all wheel drive, started back in 2003 (as 750s). Its the TF56 transfer case that gives you all wheel drive so that may be on your id plate?

The historical spec sheet for the 2009 -2011 is the same as the current one ie GVM 13,900kg. The GVM of the 2009 -2011 is actually 13,500kg.

The historical 2008 sheet shows the GVM at 13,500 and it is all wheel drive. I guess the 2010 was right on the changeover to 13,900kg GVM

Model name

Any Isuzu with an S in the model name is 4+ drive. Eg nps, fts etc. the 2wd versions usually have an R instead. Eg npr, ftr etc. it gets more complicated as you get to the bigger models.

My 2007 FTS750 is full time 4wd with electronic centre diff lock and low range.
