The first of an ambitious project to produce a range of multipurpose expedition vehicles. The idea is to provide a framework, with minimal (but necessary) features to allow the purchaser to complete the truck according to their tastes/needs/budget. As such, think of it as a $79K start to that $200K expedition vehicle you always wanted. This truck has 68XXX miles, with the 4M50 motor, manual trans, 2 speed transfer case, etc.. Started out in Milwaukee WI, so has some rusty fasteners, but no structural rust. Stock except for super-single wheel conversion and 3" exhaust. Basic electrical: house battery and 2000w inverter; basic plumbing: sink, shower, 21gal fresh water, 21gal grey water; on-demand hot water*, basic heat: propane fired furnace*. Am happy to negotiate additional features (e.g. pass-through to cab?). *these items are new, installed, wired, plumbed ... but have not been fired-up: waiting for actual propane tank. Featured in Outside Magazine, Gizmag and Expedition Writer ... see www.base4x4.com for links, other photos and more info. Asking $79,950 OBO.
