Towing capabilities of an FG?
Anyone know the towing capabilities of an FG? Anyone towed anything with an FG? I've got a 23' sailboat on a double axle trailer (about 3000lbs or less) and a Suzuki Sidekick 4dr which I currently pull behind my Wanderlodge. I'm wondering how an FG might perform with one or the other of these...

That's funny, I literally just posted the exact same question. My bad I should have looked for existing posts.
I have the GVWR and the GCWR, I'm just not sure how they relate to each other.
The GVWR Is 14,050 lbs, the GCWR is 17,045lbs, which seems to indicate I would have a 2,995lbs towing capacity. But what happens if I don't have the truck fully loaded to 14,000lbs? For example if I only have 10,000lbs "on the truck" total with weight if truck, does that mean I then have 7,045lbs of towing? Or does towing not go up when I reduce the weight on the truck?
Mine is a 2005 FG140.
