FWC (Dometic) latches on fridge; more J.U.N.K!

Off road, when hitting bumps, my fridge flies open and all the contents empty onto the floor. Super cool! Love having broken glass and salty pickle juice all over the floor. It's the 3-way Dometic 2.7 fridge. I understand FWC does not make refrigerators, but this should be an obvious and easy improvement FWC should offer for their supposed "off road worthy campers". The Dometic "latch" isn't broken and it holds fine on pavement, its just a piss-poor factory design.

Anyway, here is my attempt at something that should probably come from the factory, for anyone else interested. Appliance safety latches;

Another option: if your fridge allows swapping the side the hinge is on, the door already has a hole on the end opposite. Adding a matching hole in the surrounding frame gives you a place to insert a 1/4" hitch pin.

There are kits from the RV vendors too, but any pin will work

Good call! I like this better than the stick on latches.
