Hey there,

Looking for someone to do a relatively cheap exterior remodel of an 80's FWC Fleet. Please let me know if you are capable or know any reliable people/companies who would be willing to take on this project.

It needs new plywood underneath the overhang, and possibly a new roof

Budget - $1000 or less

I think the only way to come out on this project is to do the work yourself. I called FWC and ATC and a new sideliner was over $700.00. Don't know what you need for the top, but that has to be expensive. If it is just small leaks, the Rustoleum Stop Leak works well. My garage door hardware tore a hole in my top (1977 Grandby) and I pushed it back into shape and sprayed it with the Stop Leak and it has been dry since. For replacing the plywood, it is not hard. I built a complete new floor pack. Just takes some time. Look over on Wander the West forum. There is a sub forum just for FWC campers and several complete rebuilds. When you start looking at the rebuild threads, you will see how simple they are. Good luck!
