Black Dog

Makin' Beer.
If I could find some round ones similar to the KC LZR LED driving lights for less than the $500 asking price I'd be game.

Looks like a pretty good light, especially for the price. I may need to try those.

One thing I would suggest, because I have 3 LED bars on the front of my truck, ( mine are import also, but have a manufacturer/Private label name on them, name withheld).

Put a bead of silicone around the edge where the front cover glass and body come together.

I have one out of 3 that gets moisture inside if I hit the light with a pressure washer.

Good tip, thanks!

Here's where I got it from, no affiliation.

No joke? That's awesome, best of luck to you out there.

yeah i love the weather out here and there's so much more off road stuff to do that's closer! and better roads for riding the bike too. The downside is the traffic. Farking ridiculous.

I've been thinking seriously about moving west, seems like there is much more to do for people like "us". I guess that's why 90+% of the trip reports on here are from the western US... Anyways, congrats on the move (and the sweet find on the lights too).

Those are definitely re-branded hanma light bars. It's not a bad thing, but the quality is sub par and they use cheap LEDs. With that said, my buddy has a 20" totron lightbar (also a hanma bar) and he is satisfied with the purchase for the past 8 months, but you get what you pay for.

Now if your looking for led lights and cost is a concern check out my group buy.

An example is the 6" bar from alien could be had for $150 through the buy which includes a harness and a limited lifetime warranty that can be had only through the buy. I know its just under twice the cost, but you get what you pay for:

Ge lexan cover
Cree LEDs (way more usable light than a hanma)
Harness
Warranty

Well, I guess we'll see how it holds up. If these LEDs aren't as good as others, that's rpetty ridiculous becuase these are brighter than I thought they'd be! OH well, taht's kind of why I bought it, just to see how it performs over time so I can give it a review.
