So question for anyone with a gen 2.5. If your cruising at 35-40mph and lightly press the brake while maintaining speed with the throttle do your rpms rise or feel like the torque converter locks or unlocks?

I guess I should have asked if somebody could do it in their rig and let me know if you get the same experience. I'm trying to figure out why my truck falls on it's face at 35-40. Tps is good. Trans fluid is good. I think it might be the trans computer?
So I just went for another test drive. 35mph 1200 ish cruise rpm. Turn of o/d rpms jump to 1700 ish.o/d on Push brake pedal slightly at cruise and rpms rise to 1400 ish like it used to drive... Maybe it's just me but I don't remember it driving like this. I drove most of winter with it in 4wd and now it just doesn't feel right. If that makes sense.
