Gen I engine removal, where is the access plate to unbolt torque converter.

Hey guys,
I have decided that after successfully rebuilding the 3.5L on my wife GEN III (I posted the process) I will embark in rebuilding the 3.0L on my 1990 GEN I LWB. It needs the head gaskets and at 350K miles I think it will be better to start fresh and give it a new life.

The 3.5L has a little access panel to unbolt the torque converter, where is the one on the 3.0L? Any pics?

Thanks,
Javy

I don’t know those specifically, but it is pretty common to access TQ bolts through the starter. Pull the starter and go through that space?

IMG_6270.jpegIMG_6272.jpegLadies and gentleman, work to rebuild the 3.0L of my 1990 LWB has started. Notice in the pic my 1988 SWB, once done with the LWB it will be next for the turbo 2.6L already sitting in my garage. I want the LWB done first because the SWB is more of my project car.

Hey guys, I am sorry that I have not posted any pics of my rebuilt. Everything went smooth and the engine is now working like brand new. I took my time to make it perfect.
Here some pics:
