Getting out of dodge this weekend -- Bootleg Canyon?

We were thinking of getting out of dodge this weekend for a MTB trip. The problem is a big storm is pretty much clobbering all of Utah with 30-60% chances of moisture and most highs in the 30s to mid 40s and lows in the 20s. We were thinking Fruita, Vernal Utah, The Swell, Thunder Mountain, and then maybe Gooseberry again (slightly better/not much) but Boulder Mountain Nevada (a total haul for us for two days) looks great...

Any thoughts? Totally worth it at Bootleg Canyon/Boulder City? We can leave tomorrow but Sunday night's drive will probably kick our *** back but that's OK...

Something else we're missing?

Don't have any MTB recommendations but if you end up in the Swell, look us up. I'll be leading a group of ~15 rigs from the Wasatch Cruisers and ExpeditionUtah. Camping Friday night at the Wedge, Saturday in the southern Swell. I've been watching the weather reports on this storm and I don't know if any parts of Utah are going to be clear for biking?

The only time I rode Bootleg it was 95 degrees and I fried. 20 degrees sounds equally brutal. Sounds like the makings of an epic!

See you guys in a little bit, about to hit the road...

Damn, if my fork wasn't off at Fox being fixed I'd seriously think about heading out to join you. I've been wanting to hit up Bootleg for a while now, and my other weekend plans fell through.

Have fun and bring back pictures!
