Howdy,
Interested in building a repository on that pieces from which GM Series 3 (71-95) parts can fit/swap were.
The question that got me thinking on this was:
Say I see a early 70's (71-76) GM van, and the interior's shot... but I have access to later series 3, say... 80's... interiors.
Can any of this stuff bolt in?
What needs minor editing of brackets / mounts?
What's a total no-go?
Specific parts in question:
- Dashboard / Doghouse
- Gauge cluster (preface: I know they're different formats of arrangement, likely have dif. sending units too?)
- Seats (esp. pathfinder pedestal / rotating seats to newer seats)
- Ducting / A/C + heater components
