Going electric . . .

Lots of hype and bling on the website, but few real world specs. eg Price and how long it runs on a charge.

If any body watches the outdoor channel, they are a big advertiser for alot of hunting shows. they are suppose to stand up to a lot of elements and be super quiet.

one of my favorite show's "Gettin Close with Lee and Tiffany" use them all the time and they seem to have fun with them.

they will be real quiet when you use the winch once and have to more battery left! neat concept though. I like the solid axles front and rear

i called and found out some info. not a big deal guys, that their website doesn't have pertinant info...lol. they have a HUGE dealer list complete with phone numbers.

-black models start at 9300.00
-camo kits are available for a couple hundred bucks.
-all kitted out with all the gear and farkle, it runs 10,000.00
-range is 30 miles on a single charge, depending on terrain
-plugs into a regular house outlet, taking 12hrs to fully charge

-used mostly by hunting outfits to ride in a pickup as far as pickup can go, and then used to get that last, tough few miles to a tree stand or spot where you've dressed your "aminal".

-not meant to be a overland-type rig, except as maybe a support vehicle on a tatra sized rig.

could you run a large solar array to charge while you are out running around?
