Not sure how many of you here have a PSP (PlayStation Portable), but I just came across some information where people have customized an interface between a GPS handheld receiver an a PSP, along w/ a custom application (a.k.a. "homebrew"). This might be a good substitute for a laptop, since the PSP is waaaay smaller & still has a bright screen w/ high-res graphics. I'm not sure yet if it will support the National Geographic TOPO! software. I'll post here in regards to more information I come across, and if I'm able to get it working properly.
